Who we are
Stop Redwood LIFE, a grassroots movement formed by Redwood Shores residents and their neighbors, is the main force opposing the massive life science redevelopment project proposed by Longfellow. We have been submitting petition signatures opposing the massive plan to the Redwood City Council and planning staff since October 2021.
These are fundamentals that best describe our movement:
Organizational: We are an independent grassroots movement of Redwood Shores and City residents.
Operation mode: We DO NOT solicit donations to fund our activities. We grow our movement solely through NETWORKING.
Approach: We influence the city council and Longfellow to hear us by submitting signatures for our petition.
Goal: our primary objective is to STOP the massive 3.3 million square feet Redwood LIFE redevelopment and advocate for a more acceptable, SMALLER alternative plan.Â
This movement was started by a couple of 32-years Redwood Shores residents and grows by the effort of volunteers and supporters.
